This is a full-time position that includes evening and late Friday afternoon hours.
Hiring in:
Los Angeles:
- Monday – Thursday: 7 hours, including evening hours
- Friday: late afternoons
Montreal (French speakers):
- Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Friday: late afternoons
Remote USA & Canada:
- Monday – Thursday: 7 hours, including at least 3 evening hours (after 6pm)
- Friday: late afternoons
Remote Israel:
- Monday – Thursday: 3pm – 8:15pm (Israel time)
- Sunday – 6pm – 12am (Israel time with some flexibility)
- Motzei Shabbos and Motzei Yom tov (4-6 hours) as well as Chol homoed and Bein Hazmanim.

C.S. shares what it’s like to work as a remote member of the inbound sales team.
(K4K) What’s involved in the job?
(CS) We’re focused on getting car donations and we’re taught great sales skills to accomplish that. Our goal is to make the donation process easy and simple from the initial donation call until the car donation gets picked up. We have our own internal site to provide rigorous training before taking phone calls to learn as much as we can. We feel empowered even before taking a single call, and our managers encourage and motivate us to grow.
(K4K) What has your experience been with working remotely?
(CS) I love speaking to people and communicating, which is what a lot of my job involves. I also am very goal-oriented and like getting things done. When I come in every day, the first thing I do is look at what needs to get done and start from there. And I have no commute, so I save lots of time and money!
(K4K) Why work for Oorah?
(CS) Through feedback from the kiruv department and testimonials from our beneficiaries, we can see how our actual work affects every aspect of Oorah. We’re part of a bigger mission!
Aside from the cause, the work atmosphere here is hard to describe and can’t be found anywhere else. I’ve worked at many different jobs over the years. I have not seen a place that values their employees so much. There’s a chain of command, but everyone, no matter what level they’re on, is respected and appreciated for who they are.
