(O) WHAT DOES THE JOB ENTAIL?
(SJ) The position includes managing and overseeing the workers in the financial department. We have a great team of bookkeepers who take care of accounts payable and receivable, bills, bank reconciliations, credit card payments, payroll, and more. We work with every facet of the organization. The job is to manage both the people and all aspects of their job – basically anything to do with finances. This includes coordinating projects and making sure all the departments keep within their budget.
(O) WHAT SKILLS ARE NEEDED FOR THE JOB?
(SJ) The ideal candidate should be good with numbers but mainly a great manager and people-person. Aside from the internal team of bookkeepers, you’ll also be working with other departments in the company.

(SJ) A manager is someone who helps others succeed in their role while ultimately taking responsibility for the team. It’s someone who can work well with all types of people and is a good communicator. In other words, it’s someone who can delegate tasks and develop people.
